Problem with SharePoint User Profiles

by | Jun 29, 2011 | SharePoint | 0 comments

A few days ago I’ve posted question on Microsoft SharePoint forum (here). I have a strange problem in one of my SharePoint installation with user profile service: I get error: “Error: Access Denied” when I try to: “Edit” or add “New profile” in “Manager user prfiles” (SharePoint 2010 Standard). Even if I’m logged as system account.  I’ve tried all possible solution, but without any result. You can check response from MS consultant, meaby for you it will be useful. The strange thing is that I can’t find out what’s source of it. I have two others installation and there’s no such case… Well, I’ve decided that I will wait for SharePoint service pack and check it again after installation. If it will be solved that’s great, but if it is not I don’t have a choice and I have to make new installation…
