Manifest.xml file and Wspbuilder

by | May 9, 2010 | SharePoint | 0 comments

As I mentioned previously I make SharePoint development. Well, now I know why SharePoint consultants get such big salaries. There’s a lot of tricks and there’s no any information about it.  Really. I can’t imagine how Microsoft could make such great product as VSTO 2008 and MOSS 2007, with so poor deployment… And it’s not only my opinion! WSPbuider is great tool. For example when you make deployment of you workflow project to WSP file you need manifest.xml, but with default configuration you can’t find it. To get it you have to update wspbuilder  WSPBuilder.exe.config config file with following entry: <add key=”Cleanup” value=”false” />

Now WSPbuider will create the file for you.
